The Chamber of Trade Crafts (Handwerkskammer) plans to centralise and modernise its educational departments in Dresden. For this reason, it is currently building a new training centre in the north of Dresden.

The excavation volume for the required excavation pit is approx. 20,000 m³. For further development, approx. 2,600 m of cable protection pipes with 4 cable shafts and approx. 2,000 m of drainage ducts and 26 inspection shafts are to be installed. Approx. 8,000 m³ of mineral earthwork materials were used to backfill the working areas.

200 building inlets for cables and approx. 200 building inlets for waste water / drinking water and gas were also produced.
