Faber Bau is responsible for civil engineering and road construction work for the RNV railway operation as well as a barrier-free extension of the Wasserturm, Strohmarkt and Paradeplatz stops. Wittfeld is renewing the dual-track tramway for the RNV. Faber Bau is also reconstructing the entire traffic facilities, green areas and equipment for the city of Mannheim. Gas, water and district heating lines for the MVV Energie AG / Netrion supply service are being rearranged and the electricity lines renewed.

Features: The "Planken" is one of the main shopping streets in Mannheim and is regarded as a promenade in the Rhine-Neckar region. No building materials or other materials may be stored in the shopping street. A separate storage area was therefore leased in the port region and a shuttle was set up to service the construction site. Building materials are thus delivered "just in time". To ensure that construction deadlines can be adhered to, a shift operation from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. was set up.
